first of im a noob to this forum SO HELLLLLLLOOOO.........
Ok back to my prob.. my dreamcast is in a coma the power light comes on i hear the fan turn but the disk doesnt turn and the DC menu doesnt come on......... can it be fixed or should i junk it for parts and get a new one.
ps. before it stop working it started to over heat. :evil:

to bad they are hard to find where i live.... and if i buy one on ebay ill end up paying more for shipping then on DC.

C'mon! Just telling him to get a new one isn't in the spirit of these forums! Lets try to help the guy fix his dc!

That being said, I think your best bet is to buy a new dreamcast.

EDIT: yeah , u should buy a new one , or try to get a new PSU , but sometimes you can get a DC for the same price ...

Yeah the easiest thing to do is buy a new one. Parts cost more seperately, then buying a new system.

If ya need one, I have tons of working dreamcast psu's and even one from a japanese dreamcast.

Or I think richspxsparts.com or some other place that I can't recall right now sells dc psu. If dc are going for $20, then it might be worth fixing your simple problem.
