Why the need for crappy clones rather than a PSX emu

Why the need for crappy clones of already existing games (snake, tic-tac-toe, asteroids, tetris, etc.)? Because we need to learn the DC so to speak. We need game libs and as such to aid our development. We're toying, experimenting, etc. That and we must not feel a PSX emu is that important if we're not working on it. We are trying our best to realize our visions of the perfect game, not please some jerkwad on a forum.
So to all of those who don't like the fact that we are doing our best to have fun with Sega's last console and succumbing to your relentless requests for MUGEN or AOL or ePSXe or whatever crap you want.

dude i totaly agree plus i like the oldskool games on the DC and if all these ppl are so anxious to play full speed perfect playstation game buy a goddamned freekin playstation they are only like 25 bucks at EB same with N64 so all these ppl saying why dont you stop wastin your time on lil stuff can bugg off!! and yes it would be really cool if you could play these games on your DC but mainly, i feel , for the fact that someone had the knowledge and capacity to do so
and it takes time to do stuff like that when we were all playin our 8 bit nintendos (back in the good ol days) we werent callin up nintendo sayin why dont these games look realistic or have great sound or have the ability to do so may other things
and all this stuff is being done for free by ppl that tend to get a lot of grief for their generousness they could have made this just for themselvesd but no they gave it you for free something they could have made you paid for

so all in all cut them a lot of slack they are doin the best they can and have given us numerous things to keep our lil selves busy till they actually do it as cliche as it sounds "i'd like to see you do better"

anyways..... anyone hear about "Blur!"? I bet hairy's an ass anyways, it's all a fake. When is someone gonna do something important and made a psx emu? It's been long enough. How many games is Blur! compatible with? I can't believe how crappy some programmers are.... can't even make a good genesis or SNES emu. Anyways, I'm gonna sit on this forum 24/7 complaining until I get what I want......... HEY! that gives me an idea, I'll start a new post asking for a port of some game like return to castle or medal of honour! Maybe... JUST MAYBE if I complain enough they'll do it!

I agree I don't like homebrew games, but what the hell are you complaining for? It would be different if they was trying to make money or something but there not. Let them do what they want. If they want to make a clone of a atari 2600 game go for it. I personally don't download them, but that don't mean other people don't.

They're cheap ass whiners because that's all they know. Yes, I admit I asked about MUGEN---[b]only[/b] because I was too damn tired of looking at a small screen. (and Mugen is starting to get played)

And in all due honesty, I was gonna sell my DC because other than some fighting games, I was bored with it until I read EGM and read about DCEmulation.... and I'm glad I did. So even though I can't get DCDVIX to burn (which sucks cause I converted a grip of porno clips to avi just for that...), I'm enjoying and [b]appreciating[/b] what the coders are doing. I'm sure as hell I wouldn't have the patience (the only programming I did was BASIC for Apple II), and working on my web comic site...( [url=http://omegas.freehosting.net]The OMEGAS....check it out![/url])
