Looney Toons gets a big and bad makover

I saw it on the CBS evening news last night. They are making all the main characters a new black superhero/crime fighting team. Bugs Bunny will now be known as Buzz Bunny. And IMO this is a turn for the worst for them. Why mess with something that is already great.

I grew up on the old Looney Toons made during the WWII era. They were fun. When I got older and had some education, I understood them in a whole new light. Those cartoons were priceless. This change makes me sad.

Anyways, I heard about it while driving home from school, and seeing the pictures makes me want to kill the animators at WB more now. People need to learn that there are some things in life that aren't supposed to be redone or changed. Why is it that in this day and age everything has to be "2 DA XTREME!!!111!!1!1" very dissapointing.

agreed. this is just wrong in so many ways. as dcfan stated, there are just some things in life that should be left unchanged. looney toons is one of them.

and whatever genius over at AOL Time Warner thought characters with 50 year old plus appeal could be scrapped so easily is going to have a humiliating resignation when they revert them back to the standards in 3 years time

Im sure the kids will watch it. At least when they changed turtles and Transformers around it was still decent (the new turtles show is actually pretty decent, although I dont' really watch it).
