3) Batman Forever (Kilmer) - Oh crap!
4) Batman & Robin (Clooney) - Kill me now!

I thought the second movie did the best job portraying Gotham City. A lil old and run down while still being modern.

The last batman was horrible a lot of people blame clooney for it but I think it was just piss poor writing and bad all around casting.

I think the name sounds corny... ;)

What we really need is Dark Knight Returns. Starring Harrison Ford.

It stars Christian Bale, who is a genuinely great actor. It is directed by Christopher Nolan, one of the best choices considering he made Dark City and The Crow. It's written by Goyer (who can write Action - he did all three Blade films) and Nolan. I expect this one to be good.

Apparently it is no longer based on Batman: Year One though... Based on what the IMDB says.

Me misses the Batmobile of the 1st two movies. The design still holds up well even today.

"some days you just can't get rid of a bomb!"

sounds like Git/\nn0 thought the movie was suposed to be taken seriously. i personally like the ending, they screw up the UN giving the minds of the USSR guy to the US guy then leave inconspicuously by climbing out the window and down the side of the building.

looking foward to batman begins. with the scarecrow and that imortal guy whose name eludes me, it should be great.

While Christopher Nolan is an awesome director, and the first Crow movie was good, and I've heard good things about Dark City. They have nothing to do with each other. Christopher Nolan is the director/writer of such modern classics as Memento and Insomnia.
As for the writer. -_-
Blade sucked, never bothered to watch the second and don't even care about the third. Really, the dialogue in Blade was atrocious and the story barely passable. I hope Nolan gives the script a good looking over before shooting.
