never happened for me unless I was trying to use the ones w/o analog sticks and it only suported analog sticks.I use my psx arcade style arcade stick, psone controlers, one w/o analog sticks, and the only one I have problems with are the joystick/no stick controlers because if the game needs analog sticks well you kinnda have to have them.

Some games do not work with a PS Dual Shock you can even check the MadCatz website for more info in their PS section.

Err... A DS2 is pretty much identical to a DS1. All that's really changed is the colour.

Don't believe me? Plug a DS2 into a PlayStation, and play something that uses a DS controller. It still works.

Try opening a DS1 and a DS2 and compare they are quite diferente inside. I prefer the quality of the PSone DS1 they cheapen the DS2 a lot.

Kingdom Hearts, Medal of Honor: Frontlines, and Megaman Anniversary Collection are a few games I've come across that require a Dual Shock 2. You put a DS1 controller in there, and the game will produce an error message.

Why, oh why Capcom forces players to use an analog controller for Nintendo game ports is beyond me.
