SOURCE CODE WITH THOUSANDS OF FILES

I'm trying to port a SPC player to DC , but , the source code has thousands of files , instead of just 1 file

Can somebody help ??

maybe you should try learning to program before you try porting a piece of software.

there are very few source code ive ever seen with only one file...i mean sure the one piece of dreamcast "software" that i "wrote" was only one file, but that hardly counts ("hello world" example replaced with "Disco Stu likes Disco music")...and you say youre trying to port this, eh...

Just to do my good deed for the day....

Look for a Makefile. You'll notice that in said Makefile, the instructions for compiling each of those files and linking them into a single executable.

Each file should represent some section of code, be it controls, logic, etc....

If you've only seen code with one file, it's either

a) simplistic, or

b) way too convoluted (hence my tic-tac-toe game...)

Go pick up a book or tutorial on C and you'll understand this a little better...
