Good idea. So when are you going to start it?

You know... BOR mods aren't that hard to make... and no programming skills are really needed, just a lot of time to put in it... You could start one if you want ;)

Download the "BOR edit pack" from the BOR site, then if it was me I'd work on the Characters first (you could then test them with the regular BOR levels). Then work on making your own levels. You may also want to get the PC version for testing purposes.

What makes Mods (or the real game) Jumpy? (When the charcter is walking and they shift about 2 or 4 inches) Is there a way to minimalize the effect?

well i guess that you're playing the PC version.... or a mod that has some frame problems. So far with my mod... when played on the Dreamcast.... there's no real jumpy effect unless the frames are not done correctly.

i'll be working my way torward a STREET FIGHTER ALPHA MOD.
since i have the game on my computer, i can easily rip the thing, and i worked a few times in placing frames with mugen, so i know how it works to make the anims without having them skipping or even teleporting around.

but since its my first time with BOR i guess its gonna take a long time for me to do it completely and learn all the things that have to be learned !
yet i will try !

this may be a dumb question, but is there a way to test mods without playing them on the DC? in order to not go through a whole 100pk of CDRs in a week

Test them with the PC version of BoR. They use the same format of data files

Or burn plain files on multisession CDs (although you'll need a boot disk then.)
Win95, noun: A 32 bit patch for a 16 bit GUI for an 8 bit OS running on a 4 bit processor, written by a 2 bit company that can't stand 1 bit of competition.
