Whats the Scariest Film ever?

Post by WRAGGSTER »

You know when you first watch a film and it scares the living daylights out of you, well i wonder what people rate as their scariest films ever?

For me the films like Blair witch project was extremely scary as i belived the storyline for the film. Other films like Jeepers Creepers and Darkness Falls were damn good too. The Ring was pretty scary too first time i watched it. I suppose for me the scariest film ever was The Exorcist, the first time you watch that especially on your own, sends shivers down your spine.

So what do you lot reckon is the scariest film ever?

The Scariest movie ever was...

Toy Story 2!

Seriously, I'd have to say either Resident Evil or the Evil Dead.
I'd kill myself too if my last name was...COMBS!

The Evil Dead and The Excorcist. Both are very good late at night with all the lights off and especially if you watch them alone. :nervous:

Ernest goes to camp. Turn out the lights, and turn off the sound on your tv. Old leather face, what'shisame, scares the shit out of me.

For me its probably more things like friday 13th and stuff, because of the jumpy moments. I have yet to come across a film that has scared me in any other way.

And the blair witch project storyline? how can you be scared about a load of people running trough a forest going after a whitch? I mean, the whole film passed without incident until the end when somebody...was stood facing a wall then the camera fell over. Damn thats scary

OMG I get scared so easily and RE didn't scare me at all. It was gross but not scary.

I poo myself everytime I watch a slaughter movie. Those really, really freak me out. I started watching Urban Legends 2 but turned it off after the girl with the kidney cut out died. I almost puked. That's not even entertaining or cool, it's sickening. Poltergeist was a very cool horror movie though.[/b]

It was scary how much that movie sucked, but other than that, it was not scary. I swear, they should just take a video capture of someone beating the REmake in under 2 hours and just show that in the theaters. That would be a much better movie.

The only thing scary about The Blair Witch Project is how easily pure crap can become a national phenomenon. Am I supposed to be scared of a bundle of sticks with a piece of steak in it?
