No DCEmu Wallpaper?

I realized that there isn't an official DCEmu wallpaper.

well, i had suggested a contest to dr Z a while back but he said he didnt think it was a good idea seeing how the programming contest came out

The programming contest was only 3 weeks ago Venom, basically 2 of the entries in the comp had some "extra assistance" from certain people. Anyhoo, if you guys want to have a wallpaper contest you can, although there won't be any prizes (except maybe a respected artist badge) & everyones work will be upped to the site.

ummm... we haven't started anything yet, so hold on to that thought token. nice tho!
which reminds me, i think one thing we should do is not have just one person vote, but a panel of the top admins. any other rules anyone can think of?

Well, if you could talk the admins into it, you could have the voting done on the main page in that poll. I'm sure by the time the contest is over, they'll be looking for something to post in the poll anyway.

As for rules, I have one. Let's determine a picture size. I'd say have everyone make a wallpaper that is 1024*768. That way it should fit on the majority of the user's computers.

also, when posting your wallpaper, it would be nice to have a *SMALL* 320x240 thumb. nothing illict (drugs and evil stuff like that) and must be original work (thinks back to the programming contest). and no more submissions, someone will post a new topic that'll tell you to post, so just hold off on those, please. (and yes, 1024x768 will be the standard)

That can be arranged or a panel of judges can be put together as tenchimasaki suggested.

i could judge too. remember(if your a participating), that i'll certianly give people from south dakota more viewing time.
