Great, great great great GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT album. People expected their other music to sound like Song 2, but were suprised to find that they are a british pop band, and I find that funny. That CD got me into their music deeply though and made me go and buy their other pop albums. Death Of The Party and You're So Great are too frickin' cool.

Jawbreaker - Dear You (Reissue)
This is the year for reissues (Weezer, Bad Religion, Jawbreaker) and new albums (Bad Religion, Social Distortion, Descendents).

Just got some CDs today (for free) of a local band that I've been listenin' to for about two years now. Old John Feather Merchant, check them out at http://www.ojfm.com , their song Dance Dance Revolution rocks.

What difference does it make? They haven't released anything worth while in about ten years. I'd be more interested in the new Social D offering.

Nice, very nice. That was such an underrated album, which is quite sad. It pissed a lot of the Core fans off, but I found it worthwile. Probably my 2nd favorite by STP (nothing beats Purple).

Yeah, Purple is no doubt the best, but I'd say all but one song on Shangri La De Da is good, a very solid album.

The Grey Race wasn't that bad, no substance...well that name also fit the album since it is their worse....new america is lackluster. The Process of Belief....eh...it didn't sound like BR to me although much better than new america.

As for the release date it's 06/08/04. The album is called "The Empire Strikes First" (worst title ever for a bad religion album in my opinion) and here's the tracklisting and cover

I can't stand Core myself. Love everything else though, even No. 4 which wasn't recieved very well.
