Yeah, I probably won't sell my for a number of reasons.
1. They aren't worth sh*t so I wouldnt get any money for it anyway
2. It's got games I wanna play
3. It's a great system. Mines been in pieces for years and it still works. Its not even screwed together, all the parts are loose, but it runs fine!

Nothing beats getting great games for solid prices. That's the benefit when you do not care about latest graphics. There are so many great games out there, especially in the 98-2002 era, which play just as nice as today's games.GyroVorbis wrote:I just beat Conker's Bad Fur Day and Ocarina of Time for the first time on my N64 just the other day.
I love stocking up on cheap games for it. Wouldn't ever sell it.
When the Snes was introduced everyone was selling their NES stuff. I made many good deals at flee markets, I stocked up on NES consoles and controllers (my bro was great at destroying them ) and I will never sell all the old stuff. Maybe because I'm somewhat of a collector as well, but selling games for a couple of bucks is not worth it when you have so many fond memories of them.

Alright, don't stone me for this but....
What if the Chankast team would be able to develop a Chankast version running on X360? I know they were planning to do one for Xbox, but there hasn't been any news from them for quite a while now. The X360 is powerful enough if you just look at the specs, however the biggest problem I think will be it's architecture and how accessible it will, or will not, be for homebrew devvers.
Though I must say, even if this will happen, there won't be any console replacing my DC for a long time, I'm too much of a DC and NES fan for that to happen

The N64 here in the USA wasn't a flop. It lasted it's full lifespan, and had many fun titles.Matisfaction wrote:For a machine that was a flop, I lot of people still have em'

I remember a buddy of mine at college took 3 crap XBOX games (think it was WWE Raw, FIFA, and some Ice hockey game) that he had to Gamestation and swopped em for a pile of ace N64 gamesGyroVorbis wrote:I love stocking up on cheap games for it. Wouldn't ever sell it.

Most people are idiots. Nintendo is still the #1 video game hardware manufacturer (in Japan and probably still in the US and UK - it was in 2004 at least. It's hard to tell outside of Japan because accurate records aren't released to the public), but you never hear any one mention that fact either.Matisfaction wrote:As it did in the UK.
