Complete Studio Recordings (Led Zeppelin) - boxed set, remastered by Jimmy Page
Private Investigations (Mark Knopfler/Dire Straits best-of) - iTunes download. $11 download vs. $22 CD... it wasn't that hard of a choice.
Working on a Dream (Bruce Springsteen)
Re-Animation Festival (Groovie Ghoulies) - iTunes download. The CD is out of print.
Flight of the Cosmic Hippo (Bela Fleck and the Flecktones)
Must I Paint You a Picture? The Essential Billy Bragg

Re: Post the last CD you bought
First album purchase in a LONG time. Went to a solo show at a Cafe in Dallas and picked up 4 Albums there.
Vermillion Lies - Separated by Birth
Vermillion Lies - What's in the Box
Zoe Boekbinder's solo Album
Zoe Boekbinder's Demo CD
For buying all four at the show I got a "free" poster with em and of course got the stuff signed.

Casket Architects - Future Wounds. These guys are a great three-piece sci-fi punk/metal band from NY. I think this is their best work to date.

The Flaming Lips - Embryonic. This album is sort of a return to their earlier, more experimental form, and doesn't have much in terms of encapsulated "songs." However, it is interesting to listen to. I prefer their last few albums, though.

Re: Post the last CD you bought
My most recent recommendation is Crosses' new EP, a band featuring Chino from the Deftones as well as members of Far. It's kinda gloomy/shoegaze/alternative, I've had it on for a couple of weeks.

Between the Buried & Me - "Colors"
I don't really buy CD's anymore, but for $.50 where I work, I felt it was worth it just to have a hard copy of that album.
