For those who are not fans, please refrain from posting anti-wrestling stuff in this thread. You can go ahead and not like wrestling all you want, but this a serious thread.

Wrestling fans, Walter "Killer" Kowalski needs your help. Anyone who enjoys wrestling owes this man a huge debt for all he's done for the wrestling business and for the legacy he's created that lives on through his students.

In case you don't know, the 81 year old Walter "Killer" Kowalski has been removed from life support following a heart attack. He is still surviving, but is unresponsive and doctors and family and friends don't forsee him coming out of it. He's a fighter, for sure. But probably won't survive. His wife will need help with expenses after he dies.

I've checked the fund out, it is legitimate. Chaotic Wrestling works very closely with Kowalski's wrestling school and the Citizen's Bank account is set up in the name of his wife.

You can help by donating to his fund and spreading the word

If fans of Walter would like to contribute to the fund they can do so in the following ways:

1) Go to chaoticwrestling.stores.yahoo.net/tshirts.html and purchase a Killer Kowalski T-shirt. All profiits will go to the fund.

2) Go to chaoticwrestling.stores.yahoo.net/donations.html and make a donation through the store. Donations can be made in $5.00, $10.00 and $25.00 increments or any combination of those amounts.

3) Send checks made out to:

KILLER KOWALSKI PASSES AWAY
By: Bob Ryder
8/30/2008 8:57:31 AM

The legendary Walter "Killer" Kowalski has passed away. One of the all time great heels, Kowalski had been in ill health for quite some time and had suffered a massive heart attack a few weeks ago that left him on life support before his family made the decision to remove him from the support on August 18.

Kowalski was 81 years old.

In his 30 year career he was known as one of the top heels of his era. He was involved in an infamous incident that saw him rip off the ear of Yukon Eric in a match held in Montreal in 1952. Kowalski visited Eric in the hospital the next day and they both laughed at how silly Eric looked wearing the bandages. News reports about the visit portrayed Kowalski at laughing at (rather than with) Eric, and his legend as a heel was cemented.

After retiring from wrestling in 1977, Kowalski was instrumental in training some of the top names in the business. His students included Triple H, Chyna, Big John Studd, Perry Saturn, Kronus, and Frankie Kazarian.

All of us at 1Wrestling.com send condolences to the friends and family of the legendary Killer Kowalski.

Yeah, that's what the fund is for.

A student of one of his first students just emailed me to let me know he passed at 2:15 this morning.

But this will help pay for the accrued bills and for funeral expenses.
