I keep having a problem. When I put it in the Dramcast or the emulator, after it shows the Dreamcast logo, it just goes to the main menu. I do everything suggested in the tutorial and I use SelfBoot to make it self booting. And I also try it with BootDreams. I make a cdi image and burn it in DiscJuggler with the following settings:
Mode: Mode 1/DVD Offset: 0 Bytes
Boack: 2352 TOC: CD-ROM/DVD
And All misc. options turned off. All at 4X
But it always doesn't work after it's burned.
Please help me.
DreamSNES will not boot up no matter what.

Ever tried any other burning programs? I have the most success with Alcohol 120% personally, discjuggler isn't all that great.

Maybe you have a Dreamcast that cannot read CD-Rs?
Have you tried out any other homebrew yet?

Those Dreamcasts are rarer than rare. It's been the very last production run in December 2000 (and they were only sold in the US).
Anyway, I recommend to use BootDreams' CDRecord GUI.

I second that. BootDreams fixes...a lot of things in the background, or will ask if you wish to do "X" if if finds a problem with your build.Christuserloeser wrote:Anyway, I recommend to use BootDreams' CDRecord GUI.
