Went to the company store today (my spending limit resets on Sunday, so I felt the need to spend some of it):
Xbox:
Fable - The Lost Chapters
Halo
Halo 2
Kingdom Under Fire - Heroes
Sudeki
Xbox 360 (which, consequently, I don't have yet... that's what I'm waiting on my limit to reset for):
Forza 2
Gears of War
Ninety-Nine Nights
Perfect Dark Zero
Shadowrun
Xbox:

Halo
Halo 2
Kingdom Under Fire - Heroes
Sudeki
Xbox 360 (which, consequently, I don't have yet... that's what I'm waiting on my limit to reset for):

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
I didn't realize that Quake 4 didn't have the Quake 2 bonus disc until I got home and they didn't have any in stock at EB Games, so I exchanged it for a different game:
Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (Xbox 360)
Never played it, and I know I'll probably suck big time since it looks a lot like SOCOM, but oh well.

If you can switch this one out, by all means do so. I really wanted to love this game (big fan of the original) but the impossible controls feel like swimming through molasses. I hate it.BlueCrab wrote:Perfect Dark Zero
Oblivion and Burnout Revenge are much better titles, if they're available among your choices. Do you get spending credits or something like that? Sounds nice.
Back on topic, I picked up Dead Rising yesterday. Really fun, but it took me awhile to figure out the crazy save feature.

Unfortunately, there weren't many games other than what I got. Plus, if I were to return it now, I wouldn't be able to get anything in its place (I get my money back, but I don't get the amount credited back onto my spending limit since the limits just reset).impetus wrote:If you can switch this one out, by all means do so. The Silver Star, I presume? You're lucky for getting either of those games at a fair price for Sega CD, especially if they're in good shape and complete with everything.melancholy wrote:Lunar - Sega CD

All for the 360:
VGA Cable - $12
Fight Night Round 3 - $29
NBA 2K6 - $29
Madden 06 - $29
Toys R Us has a massive amount of games out going at fairly decent prices, as Smiley said. Seems this carried on to the AU stores too! They have PS2, Xbox, 360, GC, GBA, DS, PC and a couple Wii, but the Wii games looked too childish for me.
What you have to realize about AU prices is that most of these were around the AU$100 mark when they first came out, which is a fairly decent price reduction. I've been meaning to get the Tony Hawk/Gun package as that's down from $110 to $40 here. Not sure if it's really worth it, even though the games equal $20 each.

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Actually, I bought it right here on the forums from Arrowhead when he posted this topic. It was $28 shipped, which I found to be a fair price, especially since I have never played Lunar before.BlueCrab wrote:The Silver Star, I presume? Heh, that is quite a good price (not as good as I paid years ago ($15), but I digress). I probably would have snatched that up, if I didn't think that APE got it.melancholy wrote:Actually, I bought it right here on the forums from Arrowhead when he posted this topic. EDIT: Aww... Nobody else has replied. No matter...
Here's what came with my Xbox 360, which I picked up today:
Xbox Live Arcade Unplugged Volume 1 (Bejeweled, Geometry Wars, Wik, Texas Hold'em Poker, Outpost Kaloki X, Hardwood Backgammon)
Kameo
Project Gotham Racing 3
Viva Pinata Special Edition

From the EB sale on:
PC:
Ghost Recon Complete Collection (Ghost Recon + Desert Siege + Island Thunder) $9.91
SWAT 4 Gold Edition $34.97
WWII Online Battleground Europe $4.95 I got it coz it was less than $5
Wii:
Excite Truck $69.95 I then wondered over to BigW and saw it for $58.95
Metal Slug Anthology $49.97
These are all AU prices, so I thought Metal Slug and SWAT4 were pretty decent prices. Excite Truck would have been a good price had I bought it from BigW for cheaper.
