Morality. Wal-mart treats no-one with respect aside from anyone who works up high in the company. Your company won't sell to Wal-mart for a few pennies less than you currently are (yes this has happened before with companies) and you don't have your merchandise in a store. If you don't mind a company that is happy to push it's way around killing off businesses and treating employees like trash you either don't know or don't care. The former can be fixed, the latter just makes you a bad person.
Being from California has nothing to do with it, you just like to claim being a Californian is a bad thing.

APE, you assume those conditions are universal when they are far from it. I've worked at Wal-mart for a year now and they have nothing but great to me. My brothers have also worked there during high school and college and they can only say good things about how they were treated. Its kinda nice getting a yearly bonus check this winter despite me not working for a few months due to medical reasons. For a part time job I could not be happier. My brothers have worked there full time over the summer and they as well feel it was a great job.
You don't understand, Synlor. APE's point isn't that Walmart is or isn't good to the little people who work at Walmart. What he means, is that they don't give a shit GLOBALLY, as opposed to on a small scale.
