High School Graduation
Last night I finally graduated from high school. I still feel young on these boards, pretty much all the regulars that have been here longer or as long as I have are older than me. Oh well, its definately nice to be done. I get to go to Germany in 8 days with my german class for around 3 weeks, come back and go up to Rochester Minnesota to the Mayo Clinic and hopefully figure out why I have chronic abdominal pain. Then I get to go down to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln to register for classes, and finally end the summer working my ass off at Walmart.
Anyone else graduate either from high school or college this spring? What are everyone's summer plans if you still haven't made it into the real world?

I've got 2 years until graduation still. I am considering going to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln but i still havent made up my mind, and if I dont go I will always be a huge fan of Cornhusker football.
Where exactly do you live in South Dakota btw? Its not often I find people from the same state as me on the internet.

Re: High School Graduation
I was all set to graduate this semester; I even made the appointment to apply for the degree. As the counselor was going over the sheet checking things off, she gets to one particular section and tells me that for any other AS degree, I'd be good to go but for the particular AS degree I chose, I need one more Communication class.

Re: High School Graduation
holy crap.. you joined here 7 months before me... and I graduated two years ago now...Synlor wrote:Last night I finally graduated from high school. I still feel young on these boards, pretty much all the regulars that have been here longer or as long as I have are older than me.
I've got to find me a temp job so I can make it through next semester. Being an art major is expensive.Synlor wrote:Anyone else graduate either from high school or college this spring? What are everyone's summer plans if you still haven't made it into the real world?

Re: High School Graduation
Ive got a cousin who goes to sdsu, me Im either going to UNL or USD. USD is only 15 minute drive from my house, and I go to high school in that town anyways. I've got plenty of time to decide though.

Re: High School Graduation
I got $650 for graduation, and then another $240 for not drinking in high school ($200 from my parents, $20 bet with each of my brothers). Not too shabby, went and bought a digital camera with some of it yesterday.
