"It looks like yesterday's "rumors" are today's truths, as Sony announced this morning that the PSP Core Pack would be receiving a price drop to $169.99 (down from $199.99). However, Sony wasn't content to merely slash the price of the hardware; the company also inducted two of the better PSP titles into the Greatest Hits collection, Daxter and Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror. Greatest Hits games retail for $19.99."
Well looks like people who want a PSP can get it at a reasonable price. As for me.....Nah, I am happy with the DS. I wasn't a fan of the Ps2 nor am I fan of the psp because its basically the same system just portable.
The PSP is a really nice piece of hardware, but I don't think I'll ever get one since it hurts my hands quite badly after playing for over half hour. It's too heavy.

You all are aware they are only doing this to push out a load of old style PSP's, so they can launch the redesigned version (Probs at a little higher price), that'll probably piss everyone off who buys one..

BFD. At least they waited a couple of years to launch a redesign.
