S+F Software Looking For New Artist To Do DC Project

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

S+F Software Looking For New Artist To Do DC Project

Post by S. Thompson »

We're currently in the pre-production stages of a new S+F Software project hopefully released through the GOAT Store. However, we are in need of a pixel artist. Requirements include ability to emulate stylistics of both 16-bit era games and other artwork.

The blogspot site didn't seem to be a valid link. The other site had only 3D models on it.

It's all REALLY good, but it's all rendered 3D stuff - we are looking for 2D pixel artwork such as the stuff from Super NES and Sega Genesis.

Wow, Deluxe Paint! The king of pixel paint programs :-) Do you run it on an Amiga or are you running it under emulation? (on a DC :-)

V3 was better than V4 IMHO!

I sold my Amiga 600 a long time ago so I have to run the pc version Deluxe Paint IIe, I have a copy with a res patch if anyone wants. Amiga emus run with a weird ratio/res if I could get a correct res I would run on them.

I never had DPaint III but I liked IV a lot with AGA on 1200, I know a lot of people still uses this software to do 2D games.

I still have an hand scanner for the Amiga I need to eBay it :P

And I'm only able to work on 320 x 240 res.
THAN/THEN get it right peoples!

We're still looking for an artist and we want this project out by next year's Midwest Gaming Classic - so if you're interested, don't delay - email away.

So did the game come out?
How did it do commercially?

Edit: I had multiple threads open on my browser and this post was supposed to be for the Ayla Kickstarter.
