Turok Evolution for the Gamecube is bad - you're dead wrong (unless you didn't like 007 for the N64 in multiplayer mode). It rocks (mine and your socks off) at the same time.

yeah, ive never understood why the game got so bad of ratings. it was the second game i got for my cube, and i got it for 7$, because i loved turok 3 on the 64...i play(ed) that game non stop, it's just addicting...
the only thing i dont like about it, is loading takes forever.
another highly underrated game on the cube is P.N.03....i got the game for 20$ new a month after it was out....it's an arcade type shooter from capcom...graphics are reallyy good and the game/story line is good for the price....

I had turok evolution for my xbox once, it was so bad I returned it the next day & felt dirty for ever having owned it
theres no-one else to blameThe Prisoner - Makes NGE's ending look almost intelligible.

I require a game with a single player main section to actually be good in that area, it was so bad not even a GE level mp option would have saved it, straight back to game, 'reason for returning it sir?' 'its shite' 'fair enough heres your money back'

Okay. A little review here.
After playing single player a good while after I played multiplayer first (generally speaking) I thought, overall it's a FPS with pieces of all types of games.
First off, I was instantly reminded of Star Fox 64 a little later in the game when you have to fly a pterodactyl - you lock onto targets and either shoot a missile or your machine gun.
The simpleness of the game (but to be honest, I have never played double-O 7 in single player mode) reminded me much of 007. I don't know what it is, it just did. Not too hard to notice.
I do have some problems with the game itself.
Overall, the controls are not that great (again, mentions of 007 here) and the loading times are hideous. There's a lot of little things that can make this game a whole lot better if they decided to spend a LITTLE more time on it. But what do you (or specifically, me) expect? I only paid about $8 for it on eBay.
I suggest (and recommend) that if any one liked the following games no more or less, then if you can pick Turok: Evolution up for the Gamecube for less than $9.50, you do so.
The games are as followed:
Star Fox 64 (N64)
Zelda 64: Ocarina Of Time (N64)
007: Goldeneye (N64)
I hope you like my mini-review. As it was the first of maybe many more to come.
It's been real. It's been fun. But it hasn't been real fun. Goodbye!
