DK64 is one of those games where they simply do too much. There are seven levels and five Kongs. Each Kong has 5 golden bananas to collect and 100 normal bananas to collect out of each level. So right off the bat, you must go through each level five times, one time for each Kong. And since each Kong's bananas are seperate, determined by color, you have to essencially get 500 normal bananas and 25 golden bananas out of every level. And if that's not enough, there are also faries and mini-games scattered throughout each level for you to find.Skynet wrote:Donkey Kong 64 (n64) $9
Now granted, if you can put up with the game, there is many, many hours of gameplay to be had. It is pretty much the biggest N64 game. However, most of it's size is artificial filler, and repeating each level five times gets very tiring.

Hmm.. Oh well. It was cheap enough so I don't mind. If anything my gf will play it and like it, so it'll keep her off my back for a while.melancholy wrote:DK64 is one of those games where they simply do too much. There are seven levels and five Kongs. I bought Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney for $47 as a future investment. It might sound stupid, but it's brand new, and the game is out of print. And we all know how much those Resident Evil games were going for before they got a reprint.
So, I figure at the very least, I'll make my money back, and at the most, I could see an easy $20 - $40 profit off it.

-Tron 2.0 (PC) for $5 at Big Lots
-Beyond Good & Evil (PS2) $15 at Dollar General, My god when the hell did DG start selling PS2 games?! And this is a classic Release not a re-released Greatest Hit BS!
-Final Fantasy X-2 (PS2) $5 at Game Crazy X. That's right 5 dollars, not even I could pass that up for a Brand new, unopened PS2 game.
