Bought PoP: Sands of Time (Xbox). It's far more enjoyable than I anticipated and the fact that it actually makes great use of surround sound is a bonus, too
Edit: I'm now around 1/3rd of the way through the game after a few hours - It's a lot easier than I anticipated.

Got them off of ebay. I was watching two different sets of the maracas controllers and bid on both just in case one fell through. I ended up with both sets and a copy of the game for $105.50 with shipping included in that price. Not too shabby considering some have gone for more than $70 just for the controller alone.Yonke wrote:did iu get the maracas from a online store??HomerCIDAL wrote:Just picked up a copy of Samba de Amigo with not one set, but two sets of maracas controllers

http://aokpawn.com/ mainly the Harry and Oliver location. Their game stuff is generally overpriced, but I've been lucky lately. Plus they know me (I think) and I always argue the prices down a bit (even if it's already low and I know I'll buy it). This controller was marked at $15 but I got it down to $12 since I was buying a couple DVD's as well.melancholy wrote:Whatever your hookup is, I want in on it. First a $17 green N64 and now this.
The yang: they try to sell used DK bongos for $40, used Wavebirds for $30, etc. It's hit and miss, I guess.
Not that any of this will help you in Indiana.

Purchased an Xbox 360 Wireless Networking Adapter ($100) and an Xbox 360 Live Starter Kit ($70) at EBGames yesterday.
My Xbox 360 is now almost fully functional, some $1,000 later. Now to find some fun games to play...oh wait, none have been released yet. Back to Halo 2 it seems.

Oh, look at this:melancholy wrote:I'll more than likely be saying that on Wednesday, provided that Newegg packages it with my video card like the reviewers said they have been doing. If not, oh well, since I already have a copy.SadisticSaviorX wrote:Quake 4 (free with new Geforce7800gt )
