Unreleased Dreamcast Game videos!

Post by Sultan of Saturn »

I am not sure if you all have checked this out, but it was a Sega advertisement for the game. It clocks in @ about 27 mb, but it is pretty good. Man I wish that game would have come out officially.

- - - Do not start with the warez or this will get locked - - -

I love it! Awesome punk rock soundtrack, great visuals, fast action...

Check the article on Propeller Arena.
Lines join in faint discord and the Stormwatch brews
. . a concert of Kings as the white sea snaps
. . at the heels of a soft prayer
. . whispered

If the video looks this good imagine how good the online play would've been.

After speaking with Sultan of Saturn, I decided to unlock this topic. Please don't even hint at warez - as I will lock it again.

Keep the discussion in this topic strictly on the topic of the video. Don't even mention the leaked warez release. Remember the rules - we don't allow discussion of warez here.

Also remember - THIS ISN'T NULL. Keep all idiocy out of this topic as well.

Was this game going to have an AFO voice chat system? Cause I remember hearing that it was going to, but I can't remember from where.

I was always annoyed that this game never came out, it looked really good.

Yea, it was pretty much AFO but in planes as far as I recall. IGN did a small bit on it http://dreamcast.ign.com/articles/136/136544p1.html

To be more exact, I never watched the whole video. Wow, that would have been awesome. Sorry, i should have watched the whole video before asking.

So the two reasons for not releasing this game was the 9/11 attacks and the fact that sega would not make a profit from this release. Couldn't they have taken out any of the levels that had cities so that there wouldn' t have been any problem. Also, didn't sega already lose money deving the game? By not releasing it, how did they benefit over releasing it on a console? Wouldn't a dc or ps2 release have been more profitable than canceling a completed game?

I reckon they figured it just wouldnt have generated much interest porting over to another console so didnt bother mass producing it. By the time the PS2 was taken online the game may have just seemed too primitive for the market but then I havent really taken my PS2 online nor have I played Propeller Arena so I cant really make that comparison. Just a thought

Gun Valkrie and Geist Force look good. I'd heard about Gun Valkrie getting moved to Xbox but this is the first I've seen of Giest Force which I particularly thought looked impressive. A bit slow maybe but impressive nonetheless.

I just watched the Toejam & Earl one and the music sounds really familiar - is it in Sega Swirl?

Again I feel sad about all those great games that just didn't make it to DC :(
You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.
