I bought some sealed Dreamcast games not too long ago. I can't decide wether to open them or not. I could leave htem sealed and treasure them forever and just buy some cheap used copies of them for like 5 bucks, or I could acually play them. The games are:
Sega Bass Fishing
Sega Marine Fishing
Test Drive Le Mans
Ooga Booga
They probably aren't very valuable for collecting, but they are special to me
Why buy games and not play them? I never understood that, Apart from greedy collectors/sellers who put em on ebay and ask for stupid amounts of money for them.
If you're a fan then surely you'd get more enjoyment actually playing the games than staring at a sealed package.
I've never played Ooga Booga before, but I could get that cheaply. I also have a sealed PSO v.2, but that's because Lik-Sang made a dumb mistake (I ordered v.1 from lik-sang and v.2 from play asia, lik-sang sent me v.2 instead of v.1). Right now I am keeping them sealed until I am ready to play them, but I'm questioning wether or not I should just get some used copies of the same games.

Still no reason not to open them, You can still get sealed copies of chu chu rocket on ebay. But that doesn't mean that you should waste money in buying a new one while you already have an open copy.
Unless these games were of a rare nature and by some chance you found them at a reasonable price and are planning to sell them on ebay to a couple of smegs that would quite happily pay through the nose, By all means keep em' sealed.
Other than that don't waste your money.

They really aren't worth anything sealed. Might as well just crack 'em open if you don't already own them. If you do, put 'em off to the side, just in case your other copy gets smashed or something.
Open them and make sure you treat the game alright, so that you can play it for years without having any scratch on the disc
You feel at ease as you flock with the masses,
What do you see with your heads in their asses?
Keep on railing at what I believe,
Call me insane and I am proud to be.
I think I'll open them. Thanks for helping me make up my mind . I know opening each game will be a magical experience, it always is with opening new Dreamcast games

If you have the game already, leave them sealed.
If you've never played the game before, but want to, and can't wait to play the game, or can't wait to get an unsealed copy, open them.
If you don't want to play the games, why TF did you buy them?
Next you'll be asking if you should wipe your anus with your left hand or right hand, or if you should get it sealed...
...maybe then we wouldn't have to read this shite.
You should see some crap that comes up here sometimes, I've seen a lot worse than this topic (and I'm not saying that becaus ei mde this topic, there really is worse stuff out there). I only made this because I wasn't sure if these games would have any value in the future, therefore I wouldn't want to open a game if it's gonna be worth a lot.
