The Immortal
Golf
Duck Tales
Faxanadu
Clash at Demonhead
Super C
Legend of Zelda
Gauntlet 2
Mickey Mousecapade
Double Dribble
And $35 got me a Turbo Grafx 16 with CD system with the following HuCards:
Neutopia 1 and 2
Bloody Wolf
Blazing Lazers
Dungeon Explorer
Legendary Axe 2
R-Type
Victory Run
and the following SuperCDs
Ys Book 1 & 2
Exile: Wicked Phenomenon
Final Zone 2
Cosmic Fantasy 2
I'm quite happy right now.
The TG-16 system wasn't even out, but I saw Final Zone 2 and I asked, "Do you have the system for this?" and then I described it.
And one of the daughters running the sale said, "I think we have it in the basement"
Score!
I'm even happier with my new NES collection. All 6 Megamans. Yeah baby! I just had Megaman 2 before today.

Those were my words exactly when she called me from the sale (I was home originally). I made her read off every game they had so that I pick and choose. But then we she got home with the first batch of 36 games, I noticed that I had a Megaman 5 instruction book but no cart. So we went back together and found out she didn't name off everything. I ended up buying 22 more NES games and the TG16. Many have instruction books. None have boxes.SadisticSaviorX wrote:two words:

Good deals. The tg-16 cd unit can and will fetch lots on ebay, and both the second Legendary axe 2 and Bloody Wolf are two of the best games for that console, imo.
And Kid Icarus is da bomb, yo.
Overall, I'm jealous. I once found a pong console at a local yard sale, so I've never found anything that cool.

I know, guys, I'm an ass!
The sale was run totally by females; a mom and three daughters, I think none older than 12. My guess, is that this collection belonged to an older brother (or maybe the dad?!) who long grew out his video games, which I can't imagine. But I bet if he actually knew what his family sold his collection for, he'd shit bricks.
There is a tiny dark side to this story, the spindle in the CD drive is flush with the rest of the bottom of that compartment. So the CD can't actually spin and, therefore, doesn't work. I don't know if:
A) the spindle has been pushed in and must be pulled out somehow, or
B) a part is missing from the spindle that would raise it up
The spindle has a metalic smooth surface, as opposed to a more grippy surface like on my DC or PSOne. So my guess it is the missing part theory. Any suggestions? My HuCards are working for now.
