Lik-sang running out?

Post by Nico0020 »

I was browsing through liksangs JP dreamcast games because there are some im wanting to import.

My friend wants puyo puyo fever and borderdown
Where as I am looking for Chaos Field and Castle of Shikigami 2

But it seems they are out of stock on just about every JP dreamcast game. I know playasia has these, but they always charge much more than liksang did. Anyone know if they have plans to get more, or is that it?

I've noticed that too, befor LS used to have like 3 or 5 pages of Jap games now there are only 2, I dont know whats going on. It's worth looking at play-asia, their stuff can be cheaper sometimes and if would rather pay a little extra than not get it at all, someone should e-mail them. :( :o

Play-Asia has one of the best selections. There prices are on par with most sites but lik-sang end up being cheaper because of the free shipping.

The way to shop on play-asia is there once aweek sale.
Bought XenoSaga 2 for $14 when it was sale. You can't beat deals like that.

More expensive? In my experience, Play-Asia is usually about 5 bucks cheaper than Lik-Sang.

I need to get another DC sometime soon... I had a nasty scare the other night when I inadvertantly flicked some dust off the motor spindle onto the laser lens.

It took several tries to clean it, but I got it going again.

I love my DC. If it dies I need another to replace it immediately :bawling:

play-asia has used games now, i know its not exactly what you're looking for, but everyweek they pile up on both new and used games. awhile ago, they had new copies of Rez, Segaga, Cool Cool Toon (u know.. those hard to find expensive DC games.. lol..)

I'm glad I got two =)

FREE SHIPPING?!

Not on the coder cable I bought. I bought an import cube game from them that had free shipping 'cause it was a new release, but to my knowledge, their older titles don't have free shipping o_o

Now they don't even list mod-chips, and anywhere else I've looked wants about 20 bucks for one in a bulk order, singles are about 25. This sucks, I need to get some mod-chips.

Lik-Sang has the most overpriced rip of shipping I've seen outside of ebay. I was about to buy a few small items, get to the checkout and see a shipping fee of $30 for the cheapest and slowest shipping.

Why do you all want mod chips. Get a Code Breaker disk and tada your Dreamcast is universal.

I rarely cheat in a game, and play PSO PC. It's easier to just put in the game and have it load up instead of going to the trouble of putting in codebreaker, having it load, swapping out the game i want, then booting it up. Plus, modding is fun!

I agree with fatheadpi. Modification is the way to go; I believe that one has not played imports the way that they are meant to be played, if they have used a boot disc!

It is so nice to place a disc from any region into the drive, and load as normal... I suppose that I might as well continue with my original plan to have systems from all regions. Distributed wear and tear, I suppose?
