As I think everyone knows by now, Marathon is now FREE!

So I wonder where Bero is? We could be playing this, but his port was left half done and not worth playing as it makes you want to rip your hair out in its present state. :/

None the less, load it up with Aleph-One on your Mac, Linux box, BeBOX, or WInblows machine and have fun!

It would probably be a lot easier to port now. With newer versions of KOS, you have to do next to nothing to get a portable program running, and all you need to do then is write the appropriate video/audio/controller code.

Would be nice to see. I'm shocked that no one has bothered with an XBOX port even, considering it is the grand daddy of Halo and all.

It seems that most of its requirements have been ported to DC now...I think you may be right. Though you may run into RAM problems...

I've never bothered to play it. It is really that good?

ive been burning marathon2 and infinity with some of the additional mapmaker mods from the net, with limited success... one that works the best is the alephone remake of the original marathon... there are some glitches though
