So, qatmix, can we expect a tut? I REALLY want to do this, since I have a liquid cooled DC coming in soon.

Liquid cooled DC's are the worst ones to overclock. They overheat in about 5 mins. I will do a tut, just give me time.
Again you need to have great soldering skills to do it. I had to get a pro electrician to help me out as its really hard.
At the moment, Im interested in hearing the findings onteh games that are being tested. Im really glad it went to a good home.
Cheers

could someone post the list of titles (probably import as I only have few PAL/US titles) known for slowdown?
I will see what I can do with those on the console...
cheers

The explosions in Ikaruga are intentional.

GC version does not slow done. Which is why purists prefer the DC version.

Trickstyle has slow down - that's a way ambitious game graphically.

This is off-topic, but I remember back in the day when you could overclock an Amiga accelerator card by replacing the slower oscillator with a higher clocked one.

was similar with Apple Mac Quad(?) series from memory...
on the topic played Alone in The Dark US the other day and noticed during intro FMV there's slight poping noise like the voice is slightly out of sync with the video... ??? Would it be to do with overclock?

its a 40 MHZ which gives you a 240 MHZ processor instead of 200. The FMV being out of sync could be due to the overclock, but the best way to test is try the same disc on a Std Dc and compare.
