not a big fan of 'the series' ?

are you suggesting that double dragon 1 & 2 are in the same league or can me moderately confused with any of the others?

if you've played double dragon 3, battle toads vs double dragon, or super double dragon on the snes, then i can easily see why you would hate them, as these games are quite literally excrement

but dont mix up the original double dragon 1 & 2 arcade games with all these new versions

double dragon 1 & 2 are literally the godfathers of all beatups, the first isometric scrolling beatups, and absolute classics

not to be connected in any way with the other games

You KNOW that there are a Jimmy and Billy Lee ready to use for any beats of rage mod the guy did an excellent job but now that the forums of BOR are dead god knows where you can get them lol.

Are you kidding me? Super Double Dragon ROCKS

The Arcade, Genesis, and Gameboy versions of Double Dragon 3 suck I'll give you that, but the NES version is good.

As for Battletoads Double Dragon, that game is just another Battletoads game but with characters from Double Dragon. That's not a bad thing either since I like the battletoads series, but I wish it were they other way around.

Nes DD3 is the best version of that saga, show more respect to it!:p ...dd1 and 2 are incredible games, and yes, i'll star working on DD mod and then a battletoads mod...just after i finish hyper final fight...i'll use DD advance and snes double dragon sprites and backgrounds...Yagiu Ranzou and Chin Seimei playable characters too, about the music , i have ALL soundtracks of dd games...i need all sprites you have from dd arcade games and backgrounds too if possible, it'll help a lot, just PM me. so don't worry and most of all, patience...

cant you use the arcade backdrops and sprites? they're the best, and original, full of colour ... gameboy advance is a bit blocky really and doesnt hold true to the arcade version, same goes for the snes versions

megadrive is the closest to the arcade

Nah, They would be too similar, Judging from how Hyper Final Fight looks, You wont be Dissapointed with MrQ's Efforts.

well we could have a double dragon 2 mod with all the dd2 backgrounds and sprites, that wouldnt be too similar, that would basically be awesome
