Help with HERETIC DC!!

i burned the self boot but when it starts up it just sits on the now loading screen and doesnt do anything can someone help me with this?

Did you follow the exact instructions about where to put the files you needed? I haven't personally messed with Heretic, but thats the first thing to come to mind.
