It's an automatic. If I didn't have to deal with rush hour traffic on a daily basis, I probably would have gotten a stick. It's still fun to drive. It has one of the best automatic transmissions I've driven. It's real peppy and shifts extremely quickly and forcefuly...esspecially when accelerating hard. I can still blow the hell out of most the cars on the road...as well as dogs. I gave a new Vette a run for it's money the other day.

It's a 2000 Z28. It has an LS1...which is the same engin they put in Vettes. From what I've read and have been told, the main differences between the Z28 LS1 and the Vette LS1 is the intake and exhaust...and I've got the intake from a Vette in my car and whoever had the car before me did something to the exhaust. I'm pushin' around 325-330hp...which is only about 20hp less than a standard Vette...and just about as much as a Camaro SS.

Well...I'm not fond of dog blood. I'm more partial to human and kitten blood...but the roadkill was actually kinda tempting this time. I decided against it, because it would have looked bad on the police report.

car update: I took it to the repair place yesterday, and the guy said he expected it would be finished by Friday...Monday at the latest.

Not a thing. Back in January I took out a loan. I paid off the Loan last month...BUT, included with the loan was an auto plan that would pay deductables up to $500. Not knowing whether or not I was still covered, since I had already paid the loan off, I called the company. They said I was covered 'til Jan 05, and that they would pay my deductable up to $500...which...as I found out yesterday...is the exact amount of my deductable. I just got all his info about 30 minutes ago, so I'm in a rather good mood right now
