Yup. That's a pyramid scheme if I've ever seen one.

@Zull - part of the risk may possibly be the legality of the matter. Many pyramid schemes (including Amway, as probably the most famous) have brought down a lot of people, and even put quite a few in prison. Pyramid schemes are illegal.
