Bono and The Edge to tackle Spiderman musical

U2 stars Bono and The Edge are in negotiations to pen tunes for a planned Spiderman Broadway, New York, musical.

Fellow Irishman Neil Jordan is onboard to write the story and acclaimed The Lion King director Julie Taymour has signed up to take charge of the ambitious project.

The musical project comes after the SpiderMan sequel smashed opening records at the American box office last weekend.

Come on, it's not that bad, I think it's pretty funny, and if I ever saw that play, I'd probobly laugh myself to death.
