Got way too much on my plate right now, also I'm burned out at ripping sprites - I did a slew of them for the Anime-Video Game Smorgasbord BoR mod in the works.BILAL_XIA wrote:well then make it

...very carefully. hehe, naa. It all depends, getting the sprites from the NeoGeo Eightman game was a total pain, I used Kawaks and just shut off sprite layers I didn't need and took screen shots. Lupin III and Ghost Sweeper Mikami sprites were taken with ZSnes, again just turning off the background layers and taking screen shots. The Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy) sprites I took from the Gameboy Advance game via Visual Boy Advance. I'd input the attack or movement I wanted (sometimes taping down a function on my control pad) and then go into the options of VBA where you can see the sprites - most Astro Boy sprites were in four parts, I saved each and then later reassembled them. Like everyone said, it's a LOT of work, but once you have quality fluid sprites that's the first step (and probably the biggest step) to creating an awesome mod.q_006 wrote:how do YOU rip out sprites?InsaneDavid wrote:Got way too much on my plate right now, also I'm burned out at ripping sprites - I did a slew of them for the Anime-Video Game Smorgasbord BoR mod in the works.BILAL_XIA wrote:well then make it
