Burning .nrg on a Mac

Post by Bachus »

Is there any way to burn .nrg files on a Mac? All my research says .nrg files are just plain ISO 9660 files (then why can't Nero call them that?). Yet when I try to burn them with Toast 5 I get coasters. Toast just burns the .nrg to disc without expanding it. When I change the filename to .iso and change the creator/type to a Toast ISO file Toast reads it as a disc image but says it's in an unknown format and asks for a sector size (a sure sign the file isn't a correct ISO right?).

For the most part, there is no way for a Mac to burn a nero file. You just need to get the Disk Juggler image of that legal emu image.
