Yeah, I'm working on both a Super Mario Bros BoR mod and ....probably the best BoR mod to come out, Nintendo vs SEGA! I'll have more info about that and more mods on my site later on.

New Sprite animator

I'm pleased to announce that we have a new sprite animator, Excelsior. Never heard of him? Probably haven't but you'll see just how good he is once his work comes out in our first beta and I'm forecasting that it should be out at the end of the month with everything: cutscenes, specials, and voices. I'm going to use an audio clip for Francine since I haven't casted her yet. That's the update for today.

oh yeah, it's truly serious! I even have called up "reinforcements" from a voice casting school! We're going to be in for a blast once things start running again :)

hmm....I kinda get your point Jessman. ...and about that ending, it'll be VERY VERY special, but I'm not going to talk about it yet. Also, to my fans of KNT/SPC, check out my fresh screenshots of the KNT remake I'm creating. I LOVE BEATS OF RAGE!!! lol

A MAJOR FAT UPDATE

...Well, it's been three long months since I started this mod and I have to say that we have been moving pretty well for ourselves. I've recently joined forces with a member of a group that made a Samurai Pizza Cats RPG and now we have just acquired a game programmer that has been coding graphic drivers and such for 20 years and is going to make it to where we can make more original SPC games! Here's is a list of our cast thus far and all of the jobs they've acquired:

Tommy Watson (me): Sprite and cutscene animation, item utilization, scenario, script writer
Master Mew 007 (creator of SPC RPG) : Sprite, character, mecha designer, map designer (RPG), cutscene animation, game script writer, artist, scenario (RPG), creator (Toshiro)
ApacheMan2K: Executive producer, battle animation designer (RPG), map designer (RPG), voice actor (Big Cheese), scenario (RPG), creator (Musashi, Sasuke, Hikaru, Kojirou)
Excelsior: Sprite, character, and mecha designer, creator (Excelsior)
BurkeWorld: Game script writer, music composer (RPG), voice actor (Narrator, Jerry Atrick), advisor (RPG), creator (Talgen, Ghestal)
D-Mac: Voice actor (Speedy, Bad Bird), technical advisor, consultant
Tigriss: Translator (RPG), artist (RPG)
Princess Vi: Advisor (RPG)
Rogue: Voice actress (Francine, Princess Vi)
Anonymous Bob: Music composer
MWDD: Lead programmer
*Spot Pending*: Voice actress (Polly)
Austin Vashaw (Impetus): Voice actor (Guido)
Tiffany Lee: Voice actress (Lucille)

Alrighty THEN! Well, May is here and the release of the Samurai Pizza Cats is on the horizon! |/| Right now, I'm tweeking my demo level to make sure it works perfectly and without a bug in sight, because after all, it's a level in the actual game!. Also, you guys will get to hear some of the voice actors in this demo release, but don't panic when you see the cutscenes. There will be some more "fluent animations" in the coming demos. I'm going to release Demo One on May the 19th, marking my 4 month anniversary working on this mod. We still have a while to go, but this DEFINITELY is a start. I'll upload some screenshots soon! Until then...I'm off to the pizza parlor to see a "special cat" of mine :kiss) .

the custom arrow looks real nice, but I'm not so such about how that "hallway" going off to the back in the first screenshot, it looks like it oculd be improved to make it flow just a bit more.

Well, I can't really do what I want it to do because of the BoR limitations but I deal with what I got. It gets its effect. It's supposed to add some depth to the ship. I may go back ..yet again and look over it.

Does anyone else think the UFO could use some more work (I'm trying to match it to 16-bit standards)? I need to go in to this level anyways and finish it up. This AIN'T the half of it! :lol: (And thanks for the comments and suggestions thus far!)

I like how the background breaks off into the distance but its the floor that doesn't make it look right. If you curl the floor round the turn a bit more, I think it will look better.

But the mods definetly looking better every screenshot you post. The oldie graphics theme makes it all look good. This is another mod that I can't wait for the release.
