New Sprite animator
I'm pleased to announce that we have a new sprite animator, Excelsior. Never heard of him? Probably haven't but you'll see just how good he is once his work comes out in our first beta and I'm forecasting that it should be out at the end of the month with everything: cutscenes, specials, and voices. I'm going to use an audio clip for Francine since I haven't casted her yet. That's the update for today.

A MAJOR FAT UPDATE
...Well, it's been three long months since I started this mod and I have to say that we have been moving pretty well for ourselves. I've recently joined forces with a member of a group that made a Samurai Pizza Cats RPG and now we have just acquired a game programmer that has been coding graphic drivers and such for 20 years and is going to make it to where we can make more original SPC games! Here's is a list of our cast thus far and all of the jobs they've acquired:
Tommy Watson (me): Sprite and cutscene animation, item utilization, scenario, script writer
Master Mew 007 (creator of SPC RPG) : Sprite, character, mecha designer, map designer (RPG), cutscene animation, game script writer, artist, scenario (RPG), creator (Toshiro)
ApacheMan2K: Executive producer, battle animation designer (RPG), map designer (RPG), voice actor (Big Cheese), scenario (RPG), creator (Musashi, Sasuke, Hikaru, Kojirou)
Excelsior: Sprite, character, and mecha designer, creator (Excelsior)
BurkeWorld: Game script writer, music composer (RPG), voice actor (Narrator, Jerry Atrick), advisor (RPG), creator (Talgen, Ghestal)

Princess Vi: Advisor (RPG)

Here you are gang! Finally, some new screenshots for Big Comet Caper! I got fed up with waiting so I went ahead and started putting things in!
You've probably seen this animated gif file on the net before but I loved it so much I had to make it a part of the intro. This will change eventually.
This is to show that the Title Screen is in-game...
Here's our Noble Guido ready to duke it out with ...humans again?

We're Getting there!
Alrighty THEN! Well, May is here and the release of the Samurai Pizza Cats is on the horizon! Right now, I'm tweeking my demo level to make sure it works perfectly and without a bug in sight, because after all, it's a level in the actual game!. Also, you guys will get to hear some of the voice actors in this demo release, but don't panic when you see the cutscenes. There will be some more "fluent animations" in the coming demos. I'm going to release Demo One on May the 19th, marking my 4 month anniversary working on this mod. We still have a while to go, but this DEFINITELY is a start. I'll upload some screenshots soon! Until then...I'm off to the pizza parlor to see a "special cat" of mine .

I don't know what's up with you guys just looking at my thread and not replying but maybe this will cheer you up: SCREENSHOTS!
Here we are with a MUCH updated UFO. Kudos goes to Master Mew on redoing the KNT background of the Imperial Palace in the good ole 16-bit style!
Oh...those nasty crows are at it again but WAIT They're SMALL! That'll be fixed in due time.
...and last but not least, our new Arrow! We can't have the same ole arrow in a Samurai Pizza Cats game now can we?

I like how the background breaks off into the distance but its the floor that doesn't make it look right. If you curl the floor round the turn a bit more, I think it will look better.
But the mods definetly looking better every screenshot you post. The oldie graphics theme makes it all look good. This is another mod that I can't wait for the release.
