Dream On - Dreamcast Game Contest

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Here's the word on who is done judging... from what I saw over at the Consolevision message boards...

Mickey McMurray (MetaFox), Max Scharl (Freeze), and Dave Belmonte (AudioGenius) are supposedly done judging the entries.

Dan Potter and Roddy Toomim (DJGeki) need to finish up though...

Shouldn't be too long now though! :)

The tension is killing me, when will we have the results!? :o

I still dont even know what all the entries were about. Will there be screen shots of them all? Perhaps mini reviews of them?

A list of the good points, bad points and ugly points?

I'm expecting a full report, so let us know as and when things happen. :D

Cheerio, all

Is the competition dead?

Oooh, the TENSION!
Ive run out of nails to bite, so have resorted to biting the hair on my upper lip. I am now 'tacheless, let us know before the sideburns end up gone... :o

I just recieved the last results from the judges. The winners are as follows:

1.) Inhabitants
2.) Maqiupai
3.) Boll

I will be contacting the winners shortly to arrange shipping of prizes. The winners of the pressed CD have already been contacted by The Goat Store.

Thank you to every single one of the entrants for making this contest a success. :)

Wow - S+F's game won. We are truly honored... :)

Uh - I don't speak for all of the winners, but I'm going to try and get some info and screenshots of Inhabitants DC up within the coming week...

Again - Wow... Thanks to all the community.

Yeah - if anyone is planning on going to the Midwest Classic, look for us there. We are planning on probably flying out to promote the release of the game. I'd love to meet some of you crazy folks. :D

Inhabitants really looks awesome . :D congratulation : Good job.

I'm very proud of the second place. I'm hurry to see Maqiupai on a pressed CD :) but I will add few improvements before the dead line

Thanks all for your help and your support.

Cheer up, John. Like Dan P. said on C'Vision, it's not very polished at this stage. Plus, it's no where's near finished.

Congrats, S+F guys & JMD. My family enjoyed the earlier Inhabitants demo & we are big Mah-jong fans. You will definitely get mucho praise from me.

Btw, when is the Midwest Classic?

May 22nd + 23rd. The Dreamcast presence there is going to be huge. I'm planning on getting a table or three myself. :)
