Please add and post to this list to give us an idea and what to working on.All these were tested on the CFG beta4.3 version. Tests of the other versions may bring other outcomes.

I dont have many mods if you know a site with direct downloads post it for me and others to test quake1 mods on this new version. If it has any new mods that the site i posted does not please post it. I want to make a few mod cds to play. Will help the project if we no what will not load and see why. mostly memory and or unsupported features. After using JAWS mini mod i can see you could have background music on all quake levels if you moded the quake1 files. Also this is a TC engine and should load TC and will not check for rego quake1 pak.

Something Reaper didnt mention there...

Prydon Gate is fully compatable with RADQuake 4.3... As he said.

What he didnt mention is that Prydon Gate runs at a very playable level in the high res 640x480 mode engine. The framerate is still under 10FPS most of the time but for this particular mod it doesnt matter at all. Its more worth it to have the higher resolution than the added speed.

Also.
Codename: Corporal V2 Beta2 works just fine with the 320x240 port.
With the 320x200 port it crashes... with the 640x480 port its too slow.

Could be usefull for a RPG type game 640x480. It does look nice. Any why glad it is usefull.

QuakeRally v1.2 works with CFG version.

i was checking out the list of games on the site ian linked but are any of the games avaliable for Dreamcast play or they all just PC?

Many PC mods work fine on DC straight out of the original zip. Some just need a new/edited .cfg. Some also need a keyboard.

Then there are several that dont work at all or need recoded to be compatable.

I've found more mods that are in the first three catagories with RADQuake than are completely incompatable. So you just need to try some out. :)

http://www.quaketerminus.com/addon.htm has the mods and downloads. thats why i posted it. radquake is at my site and http://console.quakepit.com/.

4.4 has the better sound and some added controls and stuff but might not load the same mods.

you will have to do a bit of work i guess thats why no one does it.

if some one has space i can make complete TC's out of all these mods using a replace pack of freeware files no quake rego files needed.

i dont have the space to do this.

i could most of these mods as self boot CDI images but you have to have a place to host them and there quiet big.

alright i got Pinoy's Quake self boot kit now which RADQuake do i get 4.5,4.4, or 4.3 then after i get radquake what else do i need?

Hmm i dont know if that works with my port of quake.. 4.3 cfg version if you want mods to load with out a problem 4.4 if you want near perfect normal quake 1 game.

both load mods thou..

pretty basic to burn but some people have trouble. if any one wants to write me a tut it save me some time on how to burn it so i would not have to anwser how to burn it all the time. yes i can write one for it just be nice if out of the kindness of your hart some one would do it for me heh.

Pinoy's Quake self boot kit won't work with RadQuake, because:

1) RadQuake uses another folder structure:
RadQuake uses /cd/quake/id1
QuakeDC uses /dc/id1

2)QuakeDC requieres a special IP.BIN with Wince flags, that makes it incompatible
with RADQuake.


Maximo: I'd suggest you to use a non-selfbooting method.
For QuakeDC you'd use: Utopia Bootdisc and a multisession CDR with your Quake files/mods.
For RadQuake you'd use_ Dchakker/demomenu and multisession CDR with your Quake files/mods.

now the orginal quake files mentioned do i just use what i get from your rerelease mod or do i hafta have something different and for the mod files do i just place whatever i get from the mod on to the multisession with the orginal quake files?

Original quake files (PAK1.pak and PAK0.pak) are the files from the id1 folder of your Q1 PC version. If you don't have the Q1 full version for PC you can't play mods(=addion for the regular quake1). But there are Total Conversion avaible which dont requiere the Q1-PC files. I mentioned them in one of my last replys.

i cant find alien quake anywhere, all the download links i have found are dead. i even tryed using archive.org to find the files in the pages archive(it works more times than not especially if the website removed suddenly)
I had a life at one time, just forgot what i traded it for.

i went to quake terminus and the link http://www.customfakes.com/qtfiles/alienq11.zip is gone ,vamoose, i want the models and weapons, i here the levels stink anyways, and why are the mods so dark, they look goofy with the "luminance" turn on, most of them do work with the joymod. the envenom mod seems cool, ilike the classic alone in the dark controls

oh has anyone gotten Quake marines to work? didnt gabe from counter strike make it? i cant find raptors either, cant find anything on your site except information on your mod ajay. later

I got Omen2 running in winquake with -heapsize 10000 boot parameter, and in the first action map i've saw the chip icon due to lack of ram, but it continued to play very well.
Does it mean i can't get it to work on RADquake?
BTW, heapsize is the only thing to determine if a mod run on DreamCast?
