Daily Nester 2-16-02 thoughts

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

Daily Nester 2-16-02 thoughts

I decided to finally do an update to Nester with the current daily release. It really is nice to see Castlevania 3 and Battletoads (not to mention turbo) in Nester.

I've been using the Nester 5 pre-4 fix for awhile now.

My only gripe is that Punchout now runs really slow (with frameskip turned off). On pre-4 fix, Punchout runs pretty close to 60 fps with frameskip turned off. I'm sure this will get worked out in future releases.

Otherwise, it just keeps getting better and better. Great work.

not out of date

Post by 123boy »

My comments are not out of date. Today is Saturday Feb 16th, 2002. There is a release for today. Today is not Feb 17th but the 16th (as the binary would indicate). My review is for the release current as of today (Feb 16th).

The dating on the binary is wrong. My comments stand as current and relevent to the lastest release of NesterDC.
