What's the best light gun to buy for the Dreamcast?

The official one. In the US, I think it was distributed by Mad Catz.

Oh. Oh, did Mad Catz distribute it when a Sega factory burnt down or something? Did they ever distribute a lightgun for Sega?

US never got the official light gun since US kids like to shoot up their schools, so endorcing a light gun with games like house of the dead helps you practice it, just like doom and columbine

The madcats gun is pretty good, I have it and i havent had a problem with it, works with DreamSNES too.

The minigun by Hais (Taiwanese I think) is the best one I have used. Best ergonomically, most accurate and the best sights. Also very cheap, like $10 new. The mad catz is ok.

I've got 2 Mad Catz guns, and I couldn't imagine playing with anything else. It is too bad that the Xbox guns they made look like a Super Soaker. Plus, The House of the Dead III uses a shotgun, but you are holding some little gun. Anyways, the one by Interact, I think, looks really big...too bulky if you ask me. The Mad Catz one is pretty ergonomic, and it has auto-fire and auto-reload options. I was able to get my 76 year-old grandmother to play The House of the Dead II last Thanksgiving by getting her right in front of the tv with both of those settings.

The Mad Catz lightgun. Grandmother tested. Sultan approved.

Try to import the Japanese Sega light gun(try anyplce in the back of a magazine). Its light, sleek, and plays House of The Dead 2 and Confidential Mission like a dream.

Isn't it incompatible with US games?

Sorry, I should have said the official PAL/JPN Lightgun isn't recognised by Original US software.

There might be a case where Virtua Cop 2 on the Smash Pack works but im not 100%.
