Yes true it is illegal to copy to a form of media and give it away, but that is because technically you are paying them by viewing the commercials. Even though a person might leave commercials in the video they will become outdated as time passes and possibly show media that is not true. Like lets say a person records a simpson episode and a year later someone goes to watch it. Well there is a Commercial saying Come to Burger King cause we got chicken sandwichs for 99 cents this week only. Well obviously a year later it would not be going on.
As for The 2.6 version it may be illegal but there is no reason for anyone to care. As long as a person downloads a unedited file of it and burns it that saves planetweb the cost of produceing and shipping it to someone.
Anybody in the mood for a Chicken Sandwich now?

Me too
Same thing happened to me. I ordered the 2.6 and they sent me 2.0.
I couldnt get 2.6 legal way if I tried.

No Problems Here With 2.6
I have the Planetweb Browser 2.6 and it hasn't caused any problems for me on any online games, namely Phantasy Star Online v2. I even used that version to edit my ISP information when my old ISP expired. I haven't had any problems with it at all.
