That would be the Commodore 64 emulator. Haven't heard anything about it lately, come to think of it, I haven't see BigBoy around here ina while. I wonder if he still posts on ConsoleVision?

Last I remember he was working on a 3DO emulator.

I for one would think a fully operating commodore 64 emulator on the dc would be amazing -- that was the system I remember fondly as a kid, and to see it running on my Dreamcast would bring a wee tear to my eye. :)

CCS64 is a good C64 emu for the PC, there's a new version of it out at http://www.computerbrains.com/ccs64.

The new version doesn't seem to be on the homepage but you can get it from here if you want it.

the commodore c-64 is just the best little puter ever made. hehe. i had the whole setup given to me by a friend when i was just using computers. i had a commodore vic-20 and a tommy tutor before then... and the c-64 blew them away. it was great fun. had lots of fun playing text adventures on it. also it was great fun doing "artwork" with the strange little graphic symbols it had.

i later gave it to my uncle... and right now my cousin has it. he's kept it in good condition and i'm gonna get it back. just as a keepsake... really.

boy, such memories!!

~tears and gentle weeping~

maybe i'll start a thread about first computers in the offtopic forum.
