Atari aniversy edition
This seemed like the best place to post this. Ok I bought the atari aniversy edition for my dreamcast. It has a game called tempist on it, but when it was played in the acarde you used a little spinner wheel. I know atari sold one for their atari 2600 system. Does anybody know where I could get one of these and could somebody explain to me ( if possible ) how to mod it to work on a dreamcast. please help.
As far as using Atari spinners on the DC, I can't think of any way to get it to work. They used potentiomiters to determine the position the spinner was in... this has no match on a Dreamcast controller.
If it has mouse support for Tempest you might be able to hack an arcade spinner to a DC mouse or use a control from http://www.oscarcontrols.com/ and a PC to DC mouse adapter.
If it doesn't have mouse support, you're outa luck.
