what exacly is Kawaks? is it like Impact? the games on the list at the site seem to be pretty recent, so it's like a Neo Geo Arcade emu, correct? is it 3d? please inform...

This was reported in http://www.dcemulation.org/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=20 before this topic was made, although with the recent trouble which has left it all jumbled up it could have been hard to spot.

hi everybody! i tried the program Kawaaks and it doesnt seem to work when i load the roms. It works on mame but not in Kawaaks, the reason i want it to work in Kawaaks is for netplay. But anyway when i load a game it says something to the extent of "its not found". i checked the directiories and i also had zips in the folders along with the files. well anyway i thought this was the right place to go for help so ty in advance!

btw all the games i have tried so far were csp1 and 2........that is how u spell it right? no neogeos though

pkScary its pretty obvious but have you put it in the Kawaks rom folder? and is it named correctly? I know a lot of roms are just name MS3.ZIP but I think for it to work in Kawaks it needs to be called MSlug3n.zip (thats the un-encrypted rom)

Correct Kron it does need to be Mslug3n but it also needs Mslug3 as this is the parent, and for anyone wanting the decrypted C's verion that must be called Mslug3nd (no real reason to do this other than to already have the files decrypted and so get into the game slightly quicker).

WOW! i never knew emulation could be this hard.......i might actually have to think! yes Kron, it is in the kawaaks folder, but i also tried to use the folder selector below the rom selector option to link to the mame32 rom folder, which also doesnt work for me. Have any of you tried zbattle.net ? its a snes-netplay-connector-thingy. Well anyway i really like it and i would like to play the following games online(i think it will be easier if i tell u......tron maybe u know the correct names?)

More on the topic of this post, i downloaded Metal Slug 3 from this site which is probably too good to be true, considering i get a 25-55kbps download from it. MAME 32 from http://www.kalleira.com works for me! but unfortunatly i cant find metal slug 3 or working dungeons and dragons games... does anyone play that game? maybe u can send it to me, and or we can play! so if anybody can post any good MAME rom websites that are also fast (---Link Removed---) i would really appreciate it. btw this is from my schools 2 and 3 dimensional design class lol well cya when i get home!!!

pkScary set your rompaths in Kawaks by using the Configure Rompaths option in the file menu, as for naming the others you mentioned
Dungeons And Dragons - Shadow Over Mysteria should be ddsom.zip
Dungeons And Dragons - Tower Of Doom should be ddtod.zip
X-Men (4 player) you are correct on this one. I was going to point you to a newsgroup that would supply working versions but that would be not allowed, pm me if you need help with that.
