Ok correct me if im wrong but the dc & the psx both take in ac and convert it to dc right thats what that power supply does is there away to remove the power supply and run the dc on a lantern battery or something i have a portable tv and i have made a portable gen buy adding 6 d batteries to it i know the systems are different but there must be away

There was an additional board that takes the 120 volt wall input and lowers it, hm, seems to lower it to around 8 volts.
120v AC
8v DC
