When will we evolve to the next step?

Post by JimmyPop »

:? The developers for dreamSNES did a super job! My only question is when will they evolve and start making emulators to play SNES on the PS2. I mean just think of the possibilities. It would be awesome they may even be able to make it 100% speed. Please think about this, thank you! :D

PS2 is hard to program for so it may take a while. DC is easier and probably will always have better emu's because it's based on winCE. But, if someone could really get to know the PS2 programming language, then some amazing emu's could come out.

The reason the DC is "easier" to program for has nothing to do with WIN CE. It's because of the excellent FREE programming libs made by DC Developers. None of the current EMUs use the WIN CE Libs. If someone made some good FREE programming libs for the PS2 then it would not be "hard" to program for.

I love my DC, GBA, and even PS2. I am old, I just got an an Mattell Microvison from E-bay. ( yes I am old.) :D

I knew someone would say that. Should have clarified. No current as in ones that are currently being updated. In DC EMU time Sintendo is pretty old as well. ;)

I just wish someone would be able to defeat the protection on the PS2 like they did with the PSone!
Then I could enjoy all this emulation on my PS2 just as ive done on my DC for the last few years :)
