Setting Up Reicast on Nvidia Shield Portable

I am not sure if I am posting this in the right spot...

I have been trying to setup Reicast on my Shield (Android 5.1) for a while now and cannot seem to get the program to recognize the Bios. I have correctly named the BIOS files and have placed them in many, many, many different directories and always get the Missing BIOS error every single time except for one particular directory (/data) on the internal storage which simply caused the program to crash. I finally tried putting my files in the internal storage root directory and the program will recognize the roms but not the files for the BIOS. I am attempting to set the program path directories to match the file locations on each attempt, but it doesn't help. I am really out of ideas on this and was wondering if anyone had any advice or perhaps knew if there was some unsolvable incompatibility between the Reicast and the Shield. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might wanna try other builds. Are you using one from the play store or nightly APKs?
