GameCube/Wii Players

Sylverant is a homebrew open source server for Phantasy Star Online. Dreamcast users still play PSO online with this server even today! This is the official forum for both the online game server as well as the open source project itself. Feel free to post and get a gathering started online! We can also show you how to get connected!

I moved over here from scht; this seems like a cool server so far.

GC is 15517
Korneleus, Violette, others in my sig
HUcast, RAmarl, respectively (I don't hate FOs, my friends just FO better than me)
Crowd control
English
UTC - 5, frequently after 8 PM, sometimes later

Also, challenge mode is an awesome mode and I will always play it when given a chance to. Especially ep. 2. Unfortunately, my keyboard adapter isn't working, due to loose wires.

Except for the rare cases when I have to take it down for certain upgrades, it should stay up pretty much all the time.

Hi, I used to lurk on this forum around 2001, but join today just to find PSO players on the GC/Wii. I actually setup everything on Sylverant 2 years ago, but never got around to play regularly. I'm a noob at PSO. I've never beaten the game but always enjoyed playing the beginning areas. I'll always regret not owning a DC in 1999!

GuildCard #: 13707
Primary Character Name: Viola
Primary Character's Class: HUnewearl
Primary/Secondary Roles you prefer: Meatbag/support
Your native language: English
The times you play (include time zone):
I live in the eastern US.
@082-125

I have a keyboard, but wouldn't mind chat. I have Skype or we could use Mumble. PM me if you a noob like me who wants to play with only new players.

Hi all! I just started playing on this server yesterday and am thrilled to see it working so well and with at least a few active and very good players. Thanks to everyone involved in the creation and maintenance of it! :)

Here’s my info:

GuildCard Number: 15695
Primary Character Name: Mjolnir
Primary Character's Class: HuCast
Primary/Secondary Roles you prefer: dealing pain/healing pain. My second highest level character is a FoMarl named .bordering. and I do like playing support as well. I have characters in all 12 classes and IDs at or above level ~110 as well. Most of my characters are between 120 and 150.
Native language: English
Secondary languages: I can understand most French, but it’s harder to speak for me. I can understand most Danish/Norwegian and speak some as well.
The times you play (include time zone): Central European Time UTC +1 Unfortunately, I tend to play mostly in the days which is early to mid afternoon in US Central Standard Time. But sometimes I play later in the evenings as well.

I’m looking forward to playing again. I haven’t played much in years!

Have your hours changed a lot since we last played?

I can go on late afternoon early evenings, we have holiday Thursday, so I'll be gone Wednesday, and I'll be home Saturday.

Posting in this thread to draw attention to the signature I just now bothered to write. I've seen several of you in game, and for the most part it's been great fun.

The chars in my sig are my Dolphin chars only. I have several cards' worth of GC chars, including one 200 and a large cache of good items, but I have not brought these chars on Sylverant yet and most likely won't in the future. I can perhaps dig around in my old cards if anyone needs help finding an item, but my Dolphin characters are self-sufficient and part of the fun of my playing them is to re-hunt items I had on the old cards.

To that end, my Boze character is doing most of the legwork - hunting Sorc's Cane, Smoking Plate, and Ancient Saber w/hit on him among others. My others are mostly low level or low ult, and I'd really love an excuse to grind the newm or the HUney if anyone else is up for a few forest/temple runs sometime.
Old GC player from ~05-08, casually playing a new set of chars on Dolphin. Messages over Discord will find me fastest :)

We have several Wii players. You must softmod your Wii and install the Homebrew Channel plus the Devolution software, but it works here. PSO+ is also supported for both J and U discs. We tend to get quite a few GC players on weeknights (US time).
