Yeah, so I am having trouble running this with my SD card, and I have the unscrambled bin. Not sure what I am doing wrong though. I got SDISO's to work, but never any emulators like this.

It is not needed a SDISO or something like that to work, almost I don't use it. Launch the binary (stand-alone) and select a ROM with SNES4ALL's filemanager.

Download HERE the unscramble bin that works in dreamshell.

Hello chui, thank you for your work. How does the speed compare to dreamsnes. Do you have any other projects on the way. Thankyou and I will try this new build asap.

Well, I did everything like you said, and I downloaded the scrambled bin from 3 places, once from your site, the other from a guy on dreamcast.es, and this one you posted here Chui.

I am doing everything like you and others have said, and it starts to execute on Dreamshell, but the only way I can explain it is that it starts up in Dreamshell's console, and begins to load, but it freezes.

Realy I am dumbfounded here. I don't know what else it could be but a bug, and I am using Dreamshell 4.0 beta from summer of last year. I have the same problem on 2gb and my 32gb cards.

Well, my problem has been resolved thanks to Basil, he gave me an SDISO version of this emulator that does work on my system. For some reason, it only showed the Dreamshell console when I would load the other 3 bin. files I had.

Maybe this can be of some help to others that are having the same problem as I.

No roms are included though.

It still isn't 100% perfect emulation though.

The very definition of 'emulation' precludes it from being 'perfect'. The only, and 100% authentic way, to play SNES games is by playing them on guess this ... a Super Nintendo Entertainment System ®.

Was this due to a lack of documentation, or was the version linked to re-compiled with source changes? I'd like a link to the modified sources if applicable.

Your point?
cube_b3 wrote:Strange cause the one I have on PC seems to work just fine for me.
'Fine' isn't the definition of 'perfect'. Emulation is exactly that ... emulation. If you want something to play as intended, it needs to be played on the original hardware with an original cartridge, or a programmable cart with unmodified rom. I'll refer you to the best SNES emu out there, BSNES. It's mission statement might help with consideration of why even 'full-speed', 'non-accurate', emulators like Snes9x, or ZSnes, are lacking.

In the end, what would you expect from an Dreamcast emulator anyways? Chui did an excellent job with what is now arguably 'the best' Super Nintendo emulator for the DC.

Not sure, I guess it was just turned into an sdiso and it booted up fine the first time for me. The picture I posted above is all I would see when trying to boot the bin from 3 different sources, 2 I downloaded from Chui, and another from a guy on dreamcast.es.

Vasiliy just posted the version in the link I provided above. I'll ask him where he got it and see if I can give you any further details.

Been spoiled by SNESGX for wii but this is a very good day for non-wii hackers with Dreamcasts! Great Job,Chui and other devs that made this possible.
