Possible to connect online via Nintendont?

This may be a potentially obvious answer but I'm just starting to dabble in getting my Wii modded, so I'm in the dark on this.

I see that Nintendont is generally preferred over Devolution for the Wii these days but I wanted to make sure online for Sylverant was supported before going that route, as my main reason for modding my Wii is for PSO.

Am I good to go if I used Nintendont, or is Devolution required?

Devolution is required. Nintendont does not emulate the modem or BBA, so going online is impossible.

Ahhh, that makes sense haha.

I didn't realize it doesn't have BBA support yet. I probably could have figured that out if I read up on Nintendont first. Sorry, new to Wii modding so I kinda jumped the gun on asking before researching.
